book a space
The Hundredth Hill's Artist Residences, Grounds, and Creative Spaces are available for personal, non-profit, and corporate bookings, and we love exploring the possibilities inherent in our 50-acre space!
We've hosted everyone from writers looking for a few days solitude to finish manuscripts, to a 10-person, 2-month-long NYU Tisch Theatre residency followed by a series of staged performances on the outdoor Raven's Perch Stage. We host city-dwellers looking to take a weekend break in the woods, digital artists, musicians, painters, sculptors, and everyone in between.
The Barn, which is available seasonally as it is in near-original condition and best in the temperate Spring-Autumn seasons, is gorgeous and has a full kitchen and restroom facility - and can comfortably seat up to 40 with social distancing. We've collaborated with workshop presenters, non-profit and social-justice organizations staging in-service retreat events, aerial artists working on fine-tuning acts and routines, and playwrights looking to workshop pieces on the small barn stage. We're ready to collaborate with you!
Our in-house Recording Studio, Airtime, has produced many award-winning albums and audiobooks! Airtime has been successfully incorporated into residency packages for individuals and groups, and we frequently house musicians and bands-in-residence who are working on recording projects, as well as amateur players and writers looking to take the leap into recording their first works. The Hill's Technical Director, David Weber, is among the best audio engineers in the country, and keeps a deep list of world-class studio musicians to help flesh out the artful expression of every musical genre imaginable, including gaming and animated film soundtracks.
We collaborate with a wide array of local professional specialists, including massage therapists, yogis, fitness trainers, naturalists, Reiki practitioners, producers, art instructors of all sorts, and storytellers. The Hill's list of local caterers features several talented international chefs, and we often serve farm-to-table offerings. Our specialty is customizing unique experiences, and we love curating unforgettable hours.
We focus on fostering the arts, yet we strive not to fall into the category of venue. In order to preserve the integrity of the natural space and woodlands, weddings, parties, camping, and stage rentals don't reside within our mission. We stage quarterly collaborative performance weekends, but prefer most of our nights to be filled with the sounds of tree frogs, whippoorwills, barn owls, and maybe most sweetly, the silence of the beautiful night sky, while we watch the moons of Saturn spin in our telescope lens.
So if you're looking for inspiration in your art, your work, your team, or your life in general, you've found the hundredth hill you've maybe seen in the distance... the one over which the sun sets in pinks and golds and deep blues, and where everything is always possible.
Drop us a line and let's get started on your first step. Our rates are affordable and our mission is to support good work in all its forms. Art is the Answer.
